About Geauga Children's Alliance

In 2003, a small group of concerned citizens formed the Geauga Children's Alliance, a grassroots organization dedicated to raising public awareness about abused and neglected children in our county.  The primary goal was, and still is, to provide information to Geauga County residents so they understand that abuse and neglect of children is a problem that exists county wide.

From this initial small group a dedicated and diverse board was formed.  By offering a $20.00 annual membership fee and through fundraising activities and newsletters we were able to offer educational programs to promote safety for all children.

Over time our membership has grown, the board has evolved and the scope of our activities has widened.  However, our mission remains to prevent abuse, neglect and abandonment of children through community awareness and community support services as well as to promote the activities and programs of Geauga County public child protective services agency.
